The inspiration develops along with the investigation of the art form. Investigating the possibilities of the energy, for example it’s ability to uplift emotionally as well as physically. Or the understanding that if one has an attitude of being like water, being fluid and continuous enables the energy to be felt and just like water have the ability to move fast and slow with different degrees of power derived by a Tai Chi aficionado’s ability to join with incoming energy in varying degrees of intensity. Continually being inspired by the discovery of the more that is out there that previously could not be felt or understood.
In life inspiration comes from striving towards an idea of enlightenment which can be incorporated into ones life purpose. Tai Chi principles all lead to a greater understanding of oneself enabling the shedding of human traits that restrict development and enhance traits that lead to growth and development. And as all humans can be more than they are at present the process of learning and discovery is endless, grounding Tai Chi aficionado’s in the moment and the knowledge that the journey is the gift.
